A Minecraft Movie cast and character guide: Who plays whom in Jack Black's upcoming adventure comedy adaptation?
A Minecraft Movie is set to be released in the theatres on the 4th of April 2025, with it getting the much-loved sandbox video game to life in a live-action film!
The film will be produced by Warner Bros and this highly awaited film has been in the works for a long time – i.e., for at least a decade, with it being in talks ever since the year 2014.
Due to the pushback caused by the SAG-AFTRA strike taking place in 2023, A Minecraft Movie finally wrapped up its production in April 2024.
The film will be directed by Jared Hess.
The movie follows a quartet of four misfits who have been transported to the Overworld, where they by hook or by crook need to depend on the aid and support of Steve, one of the most iconic characters in the game, to steer challenges like Piglins and Zombies with also finding their way back home.
